Instadapp started on Ethereum mainnet and has expanded across several chains, but not every product is available everywhere. Here is how to check before you commit funds.

Why Instadapp's network coverage is not uniform

Instadapp's core smart account infrastructure, the underlying lending protocols it connects to, and the newer Fluid protocol were each deployed to different networks at different times, so the set of chains available depends on which product you are using rather than on a single blanket answer. Ethereum mainnet has historically had the deepest support because it is where MakerDAO, Aave and Compound first launched and where liquidity is deepest.

Layer two networks and alternative EVM chains were added as the underlying lending markets themselves expanded there, and as gas costs on mainnet made frequent position management impractical for smaller accounts. The practical effect is that a feature available on Ethereum today may arrive on another network later, or not at all if the underlying protocol never deploys there.

Checking which networks Instadapp supports right now

Because network support changes as protocols add or deprecate deployments, the reliable way to confirm current coverage is the network switcher inside the Instadapp dashboard itself, or the official documentation, rather than a fixed list that can go stale. At the time of writing, Instadapp's products span Ethereum mainnet and a number of major layer two and EVM-compatible networks, with Fluid in particular expanding its deployments as adoption grows.

Before moving significant funds, connect your wallet, switch to the target network in the dashboard, and confirm the specific market or vault you intend to use is actually listed there — availability of the network itself does not guarantee every product or asset pair is live on it.

How the Instadapp experience differs by network

Gas costs are the most visible difference: a bundled transaction that costs a noticeable amount on Ethereum mainnet during congestion can cost a small fraction of that on a layer two. Liquidity and available markets are the second difference — a lending pair with deep liquidity on mainnet may have a thinner, more volatile equivalent on a newer network, which affects both borrowing rates and how forgiving liquidations are.

Avocado, Instadapp's smart wallet, is specifically designed to smooth over some of this by letting users hold one address and pay fees in a single currency while operating across several chains, which reduces but does not eliminate the need to think about which network you are on for any given action.

What to check before moving an Instadapp position across networks

Positions do not move themselves between networks; a smart account on Ethereum is a separate contract from one on another chain, so relocating a strategy means closing or exporting from one and rebuilding on the other, generally through withdrawing and bridging assets rather than a single click. Bridging introduces its own risk and cost, including bridge-specific security assumptions that are outside Instadapp's own contracts.

Confirm gas token requirements on the destination network before bridging, since forgetting to fund the new network's gas token is one of the most common beginner mistakes when working across chains, and it can leave assets sitting in a wallet you temporarily cannot transact from.
