February 2026 — handbook launch and core guides

This handbook launched with a foundational set of pages covering what Instadapp is, how DSA smart accounts work, and how to get started, alongside comparison articles against the main alternative DeFi dashboards. The initial scope was deliberately focused on the questions we saw asked most often about Instadapp: what it does, whether it is safe, and how it differs from directly using a lending protocol.

We also published our methodology and sources pages at launch, since we wanted the basis for our claims to be visible from day one rather than added later as an afterthought.

April 2026 — Fluid coverage and network detail

As Fluid's adoption grew, we expanded coverage to explain the protocol in more depth, including how it compares to Instadapp Lite and what its shared liquidity design means in practice for lenders and borrowers. We also added a dedicated page on supported networks, since network availability had become a common source of reader questions as Instadapp's products expanded across more chains.

This batch also included a refresh of our earlier comparison articles to make sure they reflected the current state of competing products, since a comparison written months earlier can go stale as any of the compared products update their own offering.

June 2026 — new liquidation and gas guides

This update focused on two of the most consequential practical topics for active users: liquidation risk and gas costs. Both are areas where a misunderstanding can directly cost a user money, so we prioritised writing thorough, step-by-step explanations rather than treating them as secondary topics.

We also extended the frequently asked questions on three of our most-read existing pages to cover additional long-tail questions we were seeing readers search for, rather than publishing entirely new pages for topics that fit naturally as additions to existing coverage.

August 2026 — yield strategy and withdrawal guides

The final batch covered in this changelog rounds out practical, end-to-end coverage of using Instadapp: how the main yield strategies actually work and differ in risk, how Fluid's APY figures are calculated and why they move, and a complete guide to withdrawing funds from each of Instadapp's main products.

We chose to prioritise withdrawal and yield-calculation guides in this batch specifically because they were the most common gaps we identified between what existing pages assumed a reader already understood and what readers were actually asking about in search behaviour.

Frequently asked questions

+How often is this changelog updated?

We update it whenever a batch of new pages is published or existing pages receive a substantive review, rather than on a fixed schedule.

+Does every page update get listed in this changelog?

No, minor formatting or typo fixes are not listed here; this changelog tracks new pages, substantive content reviews, and meaningful additions like expanded FAQ sections.

+Why did you add new pages about liquidation and gas costs?

These are two of the most consequential practical topics for active DeFi users, where a misunderstanding can directly cost money, so we prioritised covering them thoroughly.

+Are older pages on this handbook still accurate?

We review and refresh existing pages, particularly comparison articles, when something material changes about the products they describe; each page's own updated date reflects its last substantive edit.

+Can I suggest a topic for a future update?

Yes, use the contact details on the about page to suggest a topic; we prioritise gaps between what existing pages assume and what readers are actually asking about.

+Why were FAQ sections on existing pages expanded rather than left as they were?

We identified additional long-tail questions readers were searching for that fit naturally into existing pages, so we added them there rather than creating a separate page for closely related questions.

+Is this changelog page itself reviewed for accuracy?

Yes, each entry corresponds to an actual publication or review event on the handbook, and this page is updated in step with those changes rather than describing them retroactively from memory.

+Does this handbook plan to add non-English content?

The handbook currently maintains content across multiple locales where noted in the site navigation; any further language expansion would be reflected as its own changelog entry when it happens.
